Fall Creek Falls State ParkA paradise of more than 20,000 acres sprawled across the eastern top of the rugged Cumberland Plateau, Fall Creek Falls State Park is one of the most scenic and spectacular outdoor recreation areas in America.
Virgin Falls State Natural AreaTennessee's Scott’s Gulf region has over 100 miles of publicly accessible hiking trails, including Virgin Falls - a 110 foot waterfall that is followed by a number of other impressive waterfalls such as Big Laurel, Sheep Cave, and Big Branch falls. It's a strenuous hike to get there, but it's an all time favorite.
Burgess Falls State ParkBurgess Falls cascades 130 feet into a deep gorge and can be viewed via a short trail from the state park's parking lot. The trail to deck overlooking the waterfall is approcimately 3/4 of a mile from the parking lot with another half a mile to reach the base of the falls, so a visit could be made in an hour and a half.
Catoosa Wildlife Management Area The area has many deep cut canyons created by the rivers and streams, and offers access to beautiful scenery unlike anywhere else in the Cumberland's.
Piney Falls State Natural AreaPiney Falls State Natural Area is a 440-acre natural area insulating the 80 ft. Piney Falls and a pristine forestland featuring creeks, deep gorges, waterfalls and old growth forest. This National Natural Landmark is an easily accessible waterfall requiring a short hike.
Savage Gulf State Natural Area (Stone Door entrance)Savage Gulf is 15,590-acre natural area located in Grundy and Sequatchie Counties. Carved like a giant crowfoot into the western edge of the Cumberland Plateau, it is one of Tennessee's most scenic wilderness areas and contains over 50 miles of hiking trails.
Grundy Lakes State ParkGrundy Lakes is a truly lovely and tranquil place to take a walk or use as a base camp for exploring the larger area. Grundy Lakes is the site of the Lone Rock Coke Ovens where locally mined coal was converted to coke using convict labor until 1896
Calfkiller Brewing CompanyDon and Dave Sergio began brewing beer at home in 2001 and this grew into a full time job in 2010. They give tours of their brewery and their process on Saturdays. You will need to call and make an appointment to ensure that there is enough room for you and your group.

Chestnut Hill WinerySituated on the beautiful Cumberland Plateau, 2000' feet above sea level, the "Chestnut Hill Winery" is a "Place to Taste". While visiting, ask for a tour of the winery. Learn about the winemaking process, different types of wine, and how they are bottled and stored.
