Nestled in a lush green cove along the banks of beautiful Factory Creek stands historic Falls Mill. Built in 1873 as a cotton and woolen factory, the mill was later converted for use as a cotton gin, then as a woodworking shop. Today the water wheel powers millstones that grind cornmeal, flour, and grits.


This 17,000 acre woodland in Franklin County is one of Tennessee's newest Wildlife Management Areas for hikers, horseback riders and hunters. There is a nearby private campground and access for hunters, hikers, and even horseback riders.


At Grandaddy's Farm has the biggest and best pumpkin patch around where your family can come to choose the perfect pumpkin. While you are there, you can also enjoy finding your way through the corn maze and feeding the friendly farm animals.

Gramma's Sweet Tooth is located in the Harmony Community at 8757 Lynchburg Rd. We are about 10 miles from Winchester and 8 miles from Tim's Ford State Park. We are open from 6 am - 7 pm in the summer and close at 5 in winter. Homemade pies, cookies, cinnamon rolls, soups, sandwiches, salads and more.

At the time of its completion in 1852, the Cumberland Mountain tunnel was the longest tunnel in the world. The contruction of the Nashville to Chattanooga Railroad line came to a standstill when the steep grade of the proposed rail line was deemed impassable. The solution was the Cumberland Mountain Tunnel - a project which began in 1849 and was completed in 1852.
