Reservations are now being taken for the Seventh Annual History Hayride at Edgar Evins State Park, Silverpoint, on Center Hill Lake, which will be held on Saturday, October 13 starting at 2 p.m. Admission is still only $10 per person, including light refreshments, for this wholesome family friendly event.


The Appalachian Center for Craft is a satellite campus of Tennessee Tech University. In addition to its hiking trails, beautiful setting and gallery, the Craft Center offers craft workshops for all skill levels in blacksmithing, clay, fibers, glass, metals and wood.


Nestled among the towering bluffs and meandering streams that straddle Tennessee’s Highland Rim and Cumberland Plateau, Evins Mill is a welcome retreat and getaway from the cares of home and work, yet is just an hour from Nashville.
