Butterfly Hill Ranch

The Butterfly Hill Ranch specializes as an accomodation that combines a peaceful country atmosphere with relaxing services such as massage and reki, and outdoor recreation such as horseback riding, hiking and camping.

Defeated Creek Park

The 12,000-acre lake stretches 72 miles upstream and boasts 381 miles of shoreline, offering countless recreational activities for visitors. Miles of hiking, horseback riding and mountain biking trails surround the lake. The 6-mile Bearwaller Gap Trail has a trailhead within the campground. Other trails in the area include the Turkey Creek Nature Trail and Bear Wheels Trail.

Cummins Falls State Park

Cummins Falls was recently dedicated as the 54th State Park in Tennessee. It cascades 50 feet into one of the best swimming holes in the southeast. The hiking to the base of the falls was previously quite risky and mostly accessible to a younger more adventurous crowd, but work is currenlty underway to make this swimming hole and the falls accessible to all.

The Eads Museum

Inside Carthage Tennessee's old tobacco warehouse, Elenor and Ora Eads have created an absolutely amazing tour of galleries filled with antiques and treasures from both America and abroad. Local and national heritage is on display here, and you can follow the history of our great nation and its founding, with a tour through this museum.

East Port Marina and Restaurant

East Port Marina and Resort Restaurant offers down-home country breakfasts, burgers and hotdogs, chicken tenders, french fries, catfish dinners, hand dipped ice cream and more. They cook to order and aim to please! They also offer T-shirts, hats, souvenirs, tubes, fishing supplies, bait, life jackets, snacks, and so much more.

Center Hill Lake

The lake provides varied outdoor recreation opportunities for millions of visitors each year. Because of the temperate climate and relatively long recreation season, visitors have numerous activities to choose from including fishing, hunting, camping, picnicking, boating, canoeing, hiking, and many others.
