Adams House Bed & Breakfast

Adams House Bed & Breakfast

This 152 year old Antebelum Bed and Breakfast in Woodbury, Tennessee previously neighboored the now defunct Baptist Female College and has served many different guests in its history after accomodating the female students of the college.

The current owner of the home has spent considerable time restoring the inside of the house to the Southern Colonial style setting that it was originally designed for. The house has over 4,000 square feet with eight spacious rooms, two large halls, the kitchen with an eating area and nine fireplaces throughout the house. 12 foot tall ceilings downstairs and 11 foot tall ceilings upstairs add to the large feeling that is immediately felt upon entering the home. With original hardwood flooring throughout the house and elegant period furnishing it is as if you are transported back to pre-Civil War Cannon County. The house is completed by a gourgous 50 foot porch on the south side of the building.

The Adams' House offers two bedrooms that have been converted for the Bed & Breakfast. The Adams Suite & Victiorian Room offers a private bath, a queen sized bed, private entrance, sitting room and a porch with a view. There are several packages available to choose from or you can just stay for a weekend to get away from it all. The surrounding area is very beautiful with some unique things to see and do.
