Bridgeman HouseThis two-story 1815 home next to the courthouse in Pikeville, TN was owned by John Bidgeman. Bridgeman was a local civic and business leader who outfitted a company of Confederate infantry from Bledsoe County.
Dr. James A. Ross House & County MuseumBuilt in 1872, this house and its outbuilding once belonged to the Confederate veteran Dr. James Ross. In the 1940's the house served as the county hospital and many of Pikeville's current residents were born in the rooms of this house.
Simple Treasures"Specializing in Tennessee Handmade Products," including local painted wood crafts, jewelry, gift baskets, local jams, and handmade doll clothes and needlework. This shop straddles the line between local and visitor clientele, with both a "Tea Room" and a "teen room" with beads, picture frames, novelty gifts, jewelry, and beanie babies. There is an ice cream counter, and a unique gift section.
Liberty Square in Downtown SpartaHistoric buildings and homes along with many shops and restaurants, art galleries and windows full of antiques make this courthouse square a must see on the trail. It's a perfect mix of hometown flavor and days fone by. Plenty of free parking around the square.

Bone Cave State State Natural AreaBig Bone Cave is a 400-acre natural area located in Van Buren County on the Cumberland Plateau escarpment. It is named for the discovery of the bones of a giant ground sloth (Megalonyx jeffersonii) in 1811.
