The Inn at Evin's Mill

Nestled among the towering bluffs and meandering streams that straddle Tennessee’s Highland Rim and Cumberland Plateau, Evins Mill is a welcome retreat and getaway from the cares of home and work, yet is just an hour from Nashville.

Appalachian Center for Craft

The Appalachian Center for Craft is a satellite campus of Tennessee Tech University. In addition to its hiking trails, beautiful setting and gallery, the Craft Center offers craft workshops for all skill levels in blacksmithing, clay, fibers, glass, metals and wood.

Smithville Fiddler's Jamboree

The Smithville Fiddler's Jamboree is an annual, summer event held on the Friday and Saturday nearest to the fourth of July. Beginning in 1972, the old-time Smithville Fiddlers’ Jamboree and Crafts Festival has grown into a major event, drawing hundreds of musicians and crafts people, as well as many thousands of spectators from throughout the world.

Dekalb County Fair

Alexandria is home to the DeKalb County Fair, known affectionately to locals as "The Grandpa Fair of the South". One of the oldest running fairs in the United States, the fair has been offering old fashioned fun and good-natured competition since 1856.

Center Hill Lake

The lake provides varied outdoor recreation opportunities for millions of visitors each year. Because of the temperate climate and relatively long recreation season, visitors have numerous activities to choose from including fishing, hunting, camping, picnicking, boating, canoeing, hiking, and many others.

Edgar Evins State Park

Edgar Evins State Park is located on the shores of Center Hill Lake in the steep, hilly Eastern Highland Rim. The 6,000 acre park provides excellent recreational opportunities and accommodations on one of the most beautiful reservoirs in Tennessee.

Smithville, Tennessee's Azteca De Oro Mexican Restaurant serves authentic style Mexican dishes in a wonderful scenic Aztec atmosphere. They offer Buffet Style Lunch and Dinner, as well as a lavish assortment of appetizers, entrees and desserts. They are open 7 days a week.
