Cumberland Caverns is Tennessee's largest show cave and a U.S. National Natural Landmark. The cave displays some of the largest underground rooms and most spectacular formations in America.

Discover family fun every day through guided daily tours. The daily scenic walking tour is now offered year round, from 9:00 to 5:00, with tours departing every hour on the hour. During this hour and a half ...tour, you will be let through some of the largest rooms in the eastern United States. The lit pathways wind through the caverns’ famous large formations, waterfalls, and cave pools. Each tour is highlighted by a light and sound pageant which is a dramatic retelling of the creation story. Visitors each day are inspired by the awesome formations and spectacular sites.

Discover something unique in our Underground Ballroom. The “Volcano Room,” seats 500 and can be reserved for banquets, weddings, birthday parties, catered meals, and corporate events. Discover adventure on one of our daytime or overnight spelunking adventure trips into untamed portions of the caverns. Underground Adventure is waiting for you. Cumberland Caverns is proud to offer three Spelunking Adventure Trips. Groups from 10 to 250 can discover what caving is all about. Every step and each turn is a new discovery for you. Groups are fitted with helmets and head lights and are led through wild caving routes of crawling,, climbing, and squeezing. With nothing but a flashlight and your own determination, you will proudly say: "I came, I caved, I conquered!"
